Location

Angus Glen is a development in northern Markham, located near the intersection of 16th and Kennedy Road. Originally a farm that bred Black Angus cattle and thoroughbred horses, it was converted into two 18-hole championship golf courses in 1995. Angus Glen has been the host of numerous golf tournaments, including the Canadian Open and the Pan American Games. Unionville, a charming and historic community, is located to the south of Angus Glen. It features pre-war shops and pubs, historic buildings, and numerous community events and festivals, as well as several schools within a short distance.

Amenities

Angus Glen South Village is a master-planned community located just south of the Angus Glen Golf Course. It will feature single homes and townhomes with a focus on wellness, drawing inspiration from nature. The community will offer residents access to numerous amenities, including the Angus Glen Golf Course, the Angus Glen Community Centre, and Kylemore’s focus on the seven components of wellness. While floor plans and finishing details for South Village homes are not yet available, Kylemore is expected to release more information soon.

Transit Options

Markham offers easy access to the entire province through major highways like the 404 and the 407. Unionville GO station is just a twelve-minute drive south of Angus Glen, providing simple and affordable commutes to Union Station in Toronto. The TTC also has several stops within the community, and York Region Transit offers bus services between the region’s communities. The Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport is also located nearby, allowing for business commuter traffic to Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.
